The Opportunity

Ulteig's Project Management Services team has an opportunity to hire a Project Controls Specialist with exceptional Scheduling experience for utility scale renewable energy projects. This is a rewarding position where you'll be involved in projects from initiation to close. This will be a challenging role in which you will be responsible for all project controls activities including MS Project scheduling, Cost Control and reporting and Primavera scheduling. You will play an important role in the growth of our Project Delivery Services team. The Project Controls Specialist will work collaboratively with the Client's project teams to manage project schedules, cost control, reporting and administration.

What You'll Do



  • Develop, monitor, analyze, and update integrated project schedules so that projects can be tracked and reported accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work and prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity.
  • Manage project schedule including, but not limited to; critical path, resource loading, schedule content, relationships and logic, constraints and milestones.
  • Analyze, assess, and communicate impacts to the project management team regarding schedule critical path activities: report deviations and variances and assist in the developing action plans for corrective action
  • Track scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
  • Report change control for project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Manage project schedule meetings and actions items
  • Attend and facilitate project/management meetings.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Maintains customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner.


What We Expect from You



  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of renewable project coordination and scheduling. Exceptional proficiency with MS Project is required, Knowledge and ability to work with Primavera P6 is also preferred. Must have strong quantitative skills with ability to design moderately complex spreadsheet solutions, database queries, and other analytical tools
  • Demonstrate the ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines .
  • Must be able to prepare clear, accurate and concise status updates and reports as required.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Must have permanent work authorization for the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
CTarget Base Compensation Range for this role $196,500-$130,500
* The salary displayed represents the middle of a range. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
