AGE Solutions is seeking a Security Management Specialist to provide on-site security support at DISA Chambersburg. Core duties include visitor processing, clearance verification, creating and managing Visitor Access Requests (VARs), performing facility opening/closing procedures, maintaining physical and personnel access controls, updating internal security databases, conducting OPSEC reviews, and supporting onboarding/out-processing activities. The specialist will also provide required security briefings, manage key control, monitor security alarms, and assist with updating security SOPs.

Responsibilities Include:



  • As a member of a team, provide on-site Security Management support and assistance to government customer at DISA Chambersburg, as a member of a mixed team of civilian employees and contractors.
  • Provide all areas of support to the DISA CHA Security Manager and RME ISSM in all areas of security to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and DISA security requirements and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Responsibility areas include (but not limited to):

    • All facets of incoming Visitor Processing and Control.
    • Perform Opening and Closing procedures for facility/building.
    • Update internal databases.
    • Provide clearance verification for access.
    • Create/manage outgoing Visitor Access Requests (VARs).
    • Apply security procedures to onboard & out-process civilian and contractor personnel.
    • Update Security Management standard operating procedures (SOP).
    • Provide briefs/debriefs to personnel (NATO, SCI, etc.).
    • Perform Operation Security (OPSEC) reviews of published materials.
    • Monitor/manage access control system for alarms. Maintain physical access controls for facility.
    • Maintain key control to include issuing and receiving keys, logging transactions.


  • Other security-related tasks as requested.


Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:



  • Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

    • Some knowledge or experience in any of the following security disciplines: Traditional Security, DoD Security Management, Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security/Cybersecurity, and/or Industrial Security. Familiarity with government security standards is helpful.
    • A strong eagerness to learn and contribute to a successful Team effort with the ability to take direction in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.


  • Citizenship and Clearance:

    • US Citizenship is required.
    • Must possess a current/valid minimum DoD Security Clearance of Secret, with the ability to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI.


  • Location:

    • Must reside within a commutable distance of Chambersburg, PA in order to work onsite full time.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Hands-on experience in Security disciplines, such as:

    • Personnel Security (PERSEC)
    • Physical Security
    • Traditional Security/Industrial Security


  • Experience using Defense Information System for Security (DISS) is considered a plus.


Work Environment and Physical Demand:



  • Must be able to sit for long periods.


Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000
