As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government-related locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal at a government location.
• Provide customer service to clients and the public while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise at the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and/or individuals and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel as required.
• Prepare incident reports and document observations related to security-related matters.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical situations.
• Maintain awareness of the environment to help to deter potential threats and support a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
