As a Security Officer - Armed CPO Perm Hospital Detail in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter potential threats and report suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed during incidents occurring at the location.
• Maintain a professional presence while carrying out assigned duties, upholding Allied Universal standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
