As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving position where you will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to assist with the protection of property, assets, and individuals at the location.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as necessary.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft within the retail environment.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any unusual activity or potential risks to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification required for Texas.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
