Security Guard - School Campus Patrol

As a Security Guard - School Campus Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate with staff, students, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to observe for any suspicious activity and help to deter potential issues.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Assist visitors, staff, and students with directions and information as needed, maintaining a professional presence.
• Work closely with local emergency services and Allied Universal management as required during incidents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
