Armed Security Officer - Cultivation Center

In Las Vegas, Nevada, near the strip:

Allied Universal Security is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our Cultivation Center on the overnight team!

Schedule: Full time and Part time on the Overnight team from 8:00pm - 5:00am

Must have minimum of 2 years of verifiable ARMED employment OR equivalent military, LEO, or CO.

Ideal candidates must:

Possess a Cannabis Agent Card
• Have Required 2+ Year(s) of ARMED Security Experience
• Preferrably have prior experience within a dispensary environment
• Be comfortable walking and conducting multiple foot patrols throughout shift

• Be experienced in managing access control protocols and security measures

• Have professional demeanor and appearance

• Display exceptional customer service and communications skills

Pay $28.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have minimum of 2 years of verifiable ARMED employment OR equivalent military, LEO, or CO.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

*A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
