DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee the monthly bid process (build, award, adjust)
* Operate and administer crew planning optimization software
* Communicate flight schedules with the Union Scheduling Committee
* Manage Monthly Open Flying and Daily Open Flying processes
* Perform daily planning functions, including regular trip trades and SAP trades
* Record and track daily crew statistics
* Execute the yearly pilot vacation bid
* Schedule all ABX Flight Crews for initial/transition, recurrent and requalification training for Ground School, Simulator Training, and Operational Experience in the aircraft
* All scheduling will be conducted within the limitations, constraints, and rules of the Federal Air Regulations, Training Manual, and Collective Bargaining Agreement
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: / REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize work based on changing requirements
* Minimum of 1year general office experience with strong organizational skills
* Flexibility to work different shifts and changing off days, will also provide vacation relief to both planning and training
* High School Diploma/GED
PREFERRED:
* Bachelor's degree in Aviation
* Crew Scheduling experience
* Proficient with current ABX CBA
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Understand and familiar with FAR 121.500 subparts
* Knowledgeable and familiar with applying pilot CBAs
* Familiar with Lufthansa scheduling software program Net Line
* Crew Planning optimizer programs such as S3RUS
* Experience using flight training software such as Log Level
