This Position reports to:

Digital Lead, Industry Solution

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the digital portfolio strategy and roadmap at industry/vertical level across its entire value chain. Each day, you will ensure differentiated industry portfolio leading to profitable growth and relentless execution. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting business-led collaboration in alignment with the division and business area strategy. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Americas region.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Defining and implementing digital strategy and roadmap and executing prioritized product and solution roadmap, in collaboration with cross-functional teams across the complete product lifecycle.
  • Understanding the industry specific digital trends and opportunities, developing industry/vertical specific digital plan, and acting as the major point of contact between the industry/vertical teams.
  • Acting as the face of ABB's digital business for the respective industry portfolio areas to create strong customer value proposition and acts as the major point of contact between customers / market and the global digital and R&D organization.
  • Displaying deeper knowledge of solution consulting approach and solution selling and strong understanding on customer's buying behaviors related to digital needs and drives appropriate business models.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Automation, Process, or Chemical) or equivalent certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS/Google Architect, Cisco Industrial Networking, ISA/IEC 62443); MBA or coursework in digital transformation a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience in software, Industrial IoT, automation, advanced analytics, and AI (Preferred: Solution Architect experience with Cloud, Edge, and OT integration).
  • Deep expertise in digital solutions; previous experience in Energy Industries preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Cloud and Edge Computing (preferably Azure), data integration, and digital platforms (IIoT, MES, data lakes, APIs, microservices).
  • Proven ability to lead digital transformation initiatives, align technology with business value, and define measurable KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; adept at engaging stakeholders from engineers to executives; fluency in English.
  • Experienced in cross-functional leadership and managing vendors, partners, and system integrators.
  • Candidates must possess work authorization to work permanently in the US without sponsorship
