SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting implementation, optimization, system functionality, ensuring data integrity and alignment with the business goals. Responsible for gathering and documenting the business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes existing business application systems, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Collaborates with stakeholders (finance, IT, management, business units) to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams (finance, IT, business units) to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Designs and develops solutions to address identified issues, including system enhancements, process automation, and new system implementations.

Documents and participates in system testing to ensure that implemented solutions meet the business needs and requirements gathered.

Assesses risks or changes affecting the systems and determine appropriate actions plans to manage change.

Ensures that security and integrity of the company data and systems meet the appropriate controls and follow the proper procedures to mitigate risks.

Provides training and support on system functionality to the end users and part of releases.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of the business application systems and process from and IT perspective.

Works closely with the project manager of the department and stakeholders on projects related to each business application system implementation, integrations, and enhancements.

Supports and utilizes the organizations agile methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, IT, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Five (5) or more years experience in performing business analysis on enterprise applications

Two (2) or more years Insurance industry or Financial industry experience

SKILLS

Proven experience in requirements gather, project management for IT systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely

Strong understanding of SAAS systems, technical terminology, and Service Now

Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills

Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Self-starter, with the ability to work independently with minimal direction

Strong ability to resolve multiple complex and critical issues
