As a Security Professional - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in Cerritos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a bustling retail or mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a strong visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This position requires driving responsibilities, making a valid driver's license necessary. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities such as property damage, unauthorized persons, or unusual activities.
• Support Allied Universal management in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal team members.
• Document patrol and incident findings accurately according to site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Willingness to work at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
