As a Security Officer - Armed Bike Patrol in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role will include monitoring the premises, responding promptly to incidents, and providing excellent customer service to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and upholding site-specific policies within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and customers, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
• Assist with emergency response activities based on site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities clearly and thoroughly in reports as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a current Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for roles located in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
