Program Analyst III

Description of Specific Duties in a Typical Workday for this Position:



  • Support the team lead with planning, development, and execution of projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and activities for the CIO.
  • Prepare and review briefings, reports, and other documentation to support trainings, workshops, and policy implementation.
  • Assist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Business Rules.
  • Record meeting minutes and track action items to completion.
  • Manage and respond to tasks and document reviews in the task management system.
  • Lead or support projects by tracking progress, risks, and providing regular status updates.
  • Write and review staff papers, studies, and policy documents.
  • Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies to support mission objectives.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.



Requirements (Years of Experience, Education, Certifications):



  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, DoD acquisition, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Word).
  • At least 1 year of experience with SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and DoD acquisition processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.



Nice to Have (Skills That Are Not Required, But Nice to Have):



  • Experience supporting JPEO-CBRND or other DoD acquisition offices.
  • Strong organizational and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with government task management and staffing systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.



This is a full-time position paying a base salary of $85,000, and full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance. To be considered for this position, please apply online with a resume.
