How You Will Make History Here....
As the DSD Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and storage of products. Your role is critical in maintaining efficiency, compliance, and team harmony while driving operational excellence and meeting key performance goals.
What You Will Do....
- Shipping & Receiving Oversight: Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, and orders to determine priorities and methods for meeting schedules.
- Accuracy & Quality Control: Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper condition.
- Space & Positioning: Determine space requirements and layout for shipments in trucks and storage areas.
- Inspection & Compliance: Inspect loading/unloading operations and material handling equipment for compliance and safety; report defects for repair.
- Team Leadership: Issue instructions, standardize procedures, and maintain harmony among workers; resolve grievances and complaints.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare composite reports, adjust errors, and participate in inventory accuracy programs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to OSHA, FDA, PDA, DOT, and other guidelines.
- Performance Goals: Achieve shift goals in safety, quality, cost, customer service, and people development.
Who You Will Work With....
- Warehouse Team: Directly supervise 2 or more employees on your shift.
- Leadership: Collaborate with Operations and other departments to meet organizational goals.
- Cross-Functional Partners: Interface with internal teams and external stakeholders for smooth operations.
What You Bring to the Table.... (Must-Have)
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of applicable experience
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Mathematical proficiency (fractions, percentages, ratios)
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision required
- Regular sitting, talking, hearing, and hand use; occasional stooping or kneeling
- Office environment; moderate noise level
- Minimal travel required

- Experience in inventory accuracy programs
- Familiarity with OSHA, FDA, PDA, DOT compliance

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $55,200-$79,400
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
