As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting security-related operations at an innovative aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action based on site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to company and site policies.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials as required.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
