Financial Reporting Specialist

Full-Time | Finance - FP&A | Location - Olathe, KS

The Financial Reporting Specialist will be a key member of our global finance team, responsible for the accurate and timely consolidation and reporting of financial results for our multinational enterprise. This role is central to managing the financial close process across multiple international subsidiaries, executing intercompany eliminations, and ensuring the integrity of financial data within our dedicated consolidation system. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

  • Manage the Global Financial Close: Execute and coordinate the monthly and quarterly financial close and consolidation process for all domestic and international subsidiaries.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity using established tools, methods, and templates.

  • Deliver financial insights that inform business decisions.

  • Prepare, explain, and follow up on monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

  • Develop ad hoc analyses and financial models to support planning and closing processes.

  • Ensure reports are timely, accurate, and aligned with business needs.

  • Participate in assigned finance-related projects to achieve agreed objectives within set timelines and parameters.

  • Maintain and expand knowledge of financial analysis methods, tools, and systems.

  • Share best practices and contribute to continuous learning within the finance team.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or reporting preferred.

  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or Oracle) a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
