A Day in the Life:

Warehouse Associatesare the last company personnelto handle finished product prior tocustomerdelivery; therefore,operators need tohave clear understanding of product packaging standards and transportation equipment standards. Knowledge of product descriptions, palletizing methods, and lot numbers is required to ensure accurate order processing. Proper loading ensures that trailer weightsmeet state and interstate highway weight requirements, and thatourproduct arrives atthecustomer free of damage.Candidate must actively participate in Bunge's Employee Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees.

Position Details:Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts: 1st Shift: (6:30a-3:00p), 2nd Shift: (2:30p-11:00p), 3rd Shift: (10:30p-7:00a) with occasional overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $16.50 per hour. This role is eligible to receive an annual incentive bonus.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work consistently in a safe manner.
  • Perform basic order selection, picking, palletizing, and loading functions for finished product orders, which includes the following:
    • Inspect trailers to be loaded to ensure company standards are met.
    • Decide proper load stacking and sequence following FIFO.
    • Verify product codes, lot numbers, and item counts.
    • Prepare correct picking and loading records to facilitate accurate transportation documents and customer receiving documents. This will ensure accurate accounting of product and lot numbers, proper customer invoicing, as well as complete and updated finished product inventory.
  • Maintain safe operation of transportation equipment. Lock and chock trailers for personal safety.
  • Ensure safe storage of product to eliminate safety incidents.
  • Maintain order and arrangement of finished product in storage areas to ensure integrity and quality of the finished product; ensure areas are neat and clean.
  • Other tasks and activities as directed bythe Warehouse Supervisor or the Warehouse Manager.

Training Requirements:Good Manufacturing Practices,sit-downforklift,andmotorized pallet movers.

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstration of proper forklift operation is preferred.
  • High School graduate is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with basic communication skills.
  • Order selection and loading tasks occur in 45oF environment; basic job functions involve operation of sit-down forklift; stooping, bending,lifting, upto 50 pounds are common; stacking cases and manual stretch wrapping.Must pass a functional capacity test prior to employment.

*Time is accrued per pay period and based on an 8-hour shift.
