We are looking for a Shipping & Inventory Clerk to join our team in Sandpoint, ID!

This position is responsible for packaging and shipping products in accordance with customer requirements and for mailing companies/carriers. As well as maintaining related documents and records.

Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay for this position is $18.00-$22.00/hr. The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Follow all employee guidelines and Quality Management Systems (QMS) as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure that customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and acts in accordance with NMT's Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT's Quality Manual.
  • Check in products after the products have been released by Quality Control.
  • Ship products to customers.
  • Print packing slips.
  • Palletize products and create Bill of Lading.
  • Contact trucking company to schedule pick up.
  • Store and organize products in shipping area and warehouse.
  • Order UPS and Fed Ex supplies.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to maintain supply of shipping materials.
  • Send UPS tracking labels to Accounting.
  • Process Commercial Invoices for international shipments.
  • Run daily and shipping reports.
  • Run weekly stock reports to check inventory.
  • Communicate and coordinate shipping activities.
  • Cross train with Receiving and Purchasing.
  • Abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies
  • Regular attendance is required.


REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Related experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good teamwork skills to work with co-worders and other departments
  • Knowledge of product protection requirements and packing machine procedures
  • Well organized and attentive to detail.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and willing to assist others.
  • Good manual dexterity
