| POSITION SUMMARY: The orthopedic tech performs both administrative and patient care support for orthopedic patients. In the patient care area, the orthopedic tech assists with duties such as applying and removing casts, splints and braces, instructing patients with the use of crutches and tractions, under the direction and supervision of Operations Manager and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice. In the administrative area the orthopedic tech gathers patient information for registration, schedules appointments, verifies demographic information and assists in the facilitation of patient access to services.  Compensation Range:$26.33- $30.54 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
