Position Summary We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Inspector - Supplied Parts & Supplier Quality to join our manufacturing operations in Hammond, LA. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials and components meet established quality standards and specifications. As a key member of the Quality team, you will perform inspections, document results, and collaborate with both internal teams and external suppliers to resolve quality issues and support our continuous improvement goals.Job Responsibilities and Requirements
     Key Responsibilities  
         Conduct detailed inspections and measurements on incoming parts and materials from suppliers. Verify compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Document and report non-conformances, and initiate product containment procedures. Assist with quality investigations and root cause analyses using accurate data collection. Elevate drawing discrepancies or matrix issues to Quality Technicians for resolution. Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to address quality concerns. Participate in audits, supplier evaluations, and internal continuous improvement efforts. Support the implementation of quality control processes and standard work documentation. Required Qualifications  
         High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Attention to detail and commitment to precision Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams) Availability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed 1+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices Good visual acuity and manual dexterity for part inspection Preferred Qualifications
