| About the Role We are looking for an AI Architect to join our Gore Fabrics (GF) Digital Development team. You are taking the lead on AI strategy from the ground up and will have the autonomy to explore and implement cutting-edge AI, while also tackling the practical challenges of connecting new technologies with legacy enterprise systems. You will be a key builder and visionary, driving tangible impact on our architecture roadmap and business solutions. You have a positive attitude when you develop and maintain a great partnership with the business to help clarify and understand needs/requirements to come up with options and demonstrations about AI. This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs. Pay and Benefits:

    Develop comprehensive AI strategies that align with business objectives. Identify where AI can add value and create roadmaps for implementationDesign robust AI architectures that are scalable, secure, and efficientWork closely with the other Digital Architects, data scientist, AI Developers, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive development and deployment of AI solutionsContinuously assess the performance of AI systems to improve accuracy and efficiencyChampion the Community of Practice for AI and New TechnologiesStaying up-to-date and be fast in adopting on AI and new technology developments in the industry and contributing with new ideas to the business and technical teamsRequired Qualifications 
    Bachelor's degree or work equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related fieldDeveloping applications in Python, specifically for AI/ML tasksHands-on experience or deep, demonstrable curiosity in modern AI concepts and frameworks, such as multi-agent systems (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and fine-tuning modelsFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or BicepProofen Business Analyst skills to collaborate and clarify with the business on needs and requirementsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team be flexible work across timezonesHungry and able to learn new programming languages, practices, and frameworksAbility to speak and write in English fluentlyAbility to travel 10%
