Test Engineer

Position requires aiding
engineers in the design and development of test systems and software for performing in-process
and final product testing

Our Performance Center in Carson, CA is the Engineered Products
Group site for our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, and Radio
Frequency (RF) product lines.

Job Summary

  • Assists in the design automated test systems including programming.
  • Creates and assembles cables and fixtures required for testing.
  • Diagnose malfunctions or production problems on the basis of test results.
  • Assembly work, test set up and documentation, other tasks which require special care in handling or other procedures which require good dexterity and facility in use of a variety of hand tools.
  • May set up or devise test procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Upper
    level University student studying Electrical Engineering or Computer
    Science.
  • Programming
    experience in C, C++. Python or LabVIEW experience desired.
  • Basic circuit analysis and knowledge of electronics safety precautions.
  • Excellent
    verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer usage and knowledge of
    Microsoft Office

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited College or University.

Base Compensation: USD 58,000.00 - 75,000.00
