      Position Overview The University of Minnesota's (UMN) Psychological Foundations program seeks a candidate to fill one Research Professional 5 - Educational Research position. The position will focus on supporting a National Science Foundation grant, "Practitioner-Driven Synthesis of Museum Family Learning Conversations Research" (NSF number 2549573), through an extensive literature review of prior research on family learning conversation in museums, work with museum practitioners who will inform the literature review, and participation in video clubs with museum practitioners aiming to develop new methods for studying family learning in museums. The Research Professional 5 - Educational Research will be a 75% time, 12-month employee of the University of Minnesota. The position will work closely with and be supervised by Dr. David DeLiema in the Department of Educational Psychology. The Research Professional 5 - Educational Research should be committed to producing original research and publishing their work in highly ranked conference proceedings and journals (as appropriate). The PI of this project is committed to the professional development of the Research Professional 5 - Educational Research and will provide resources to support professional development including participation in professional conferences. This position is based on campus. Per UMN policy, work may be done remotely when appropriate and approved by your manager.       Pay Range: The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $59,000. Final salary offers are dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity within the department.
