Senior Research Associate

Job Summary

The Environmental and Occupational Health department at the Dornsife School of Public Health is seeking a temporary full-time Senior Research Associate to support Dr. Leah Schinasi's Housing Environment and Ambient temperature (HEAT) study. The Senior Research Associate will assist with downloading, preparing, managing, and analyzing data using R and SAS as well as help coordinate and schedule team meetings. In addition, this position will take and distribute detailed meeting notes. The individual will conduct literature searches and contribute to literature reviews, manuscript preparation and writing. The Senior Research Associate will collaborate with other members of the project team and support other project-related tasks as needed to move the HEAT study forward.

Essential Functions

• Assist with downloading, preparing, managing, and analyzing data using R and SAS Essential
• Help coordinate and schedule team meetings
• Take and distribute detailed meeting notes
• Conduct literature searches and contribute to literature reviews
• Contribute to manuscript preparation and writing
• Collaborate with other members of the project team
• Support other project-related tasks as needed to move the HEAT study forward

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.

Additional Information

This is a Full-Time per diem/casual position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
