Daikin Applied is seeking a Project Engineer in our New York office! The Project Engineer will act as a liaison to ensure accurate bids, technical support, and timely project delivery.  Serve as the liaison between customers and the sales team throughout the bid process.Communicate effectively with customers to establish and manage project bid timelines.Analyze customer and engineering requests for changes to project scope and implement approved modifications.Provide technical expertise to support the sales team in selecting and applying standard or modified products.Develop professional technical estimates and proposals in alignment with project drawings, specifications, and scope of work.Respond promptly and accurately to sales inquiries related to special applications, systems, or pricing (Daikin Tools Quotations).Collaborate with Application Engineering and Technical Response teams to deliver pre- and post-sales support.Stay up to date on new products through technical training and sales meetings.Assist in preparing proposals, PowerPoint presentations, reports, certificates, and other documentation required for bids and contracts.Maintain the local bid list and participate in weekly sales meetings.Support sales representatives with data analysis, bid coordination, and proposal development.Ensure data integrity within the local office database, including forecast and opportunity reports.Support the Sales Manager by tracking bid progress, updating statuses, and distributing meeting notes or assignments. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
