Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate repetitive workflows, optimize back-end processes, and raise the bar on robust and scalable code-writing practices.
- Create custom user experiences that streamline business processes, build a world-class component library to empower Administrators to deliver more custom features at scale.
- Collaborate with software development teams to build seamless integrations.
- Provide technical leadership to a team of experienced Salesforce developers and administrators, ensuring all work produced by the team raises the bar and defining standards for Salesforce excellence.
- Maintain existing features/products, help design and implement new global initiatives, provide user support, and drive quality improvement processes globally.
- Operate independently as well as in partnership with Product Managers and key stakeholders for requirement gathering, solutions consulting, and implementation of new feature-sets.
- Contribute technically and collaboratively to successfully launching global-scale features in Salesforce and beyond as part of a larger Sales Technology roadmap.
- Learn and support AWS technologies as needed, with a main focus on the Force.com platform.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of post-internship, hands-on engineering experience developing on Salesforce platform.
- 7 years of experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), APEX, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs.
- Experience in building complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Prior experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Account Engagement Clouds, Salesforce Communities/Experience cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Solid understanding of AWS core concepts and experience leveraging AWS services including Lambda, CloudWatch, Appflow, S3, and others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce.com application architecture coupled with good knowledge of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.).
- Understanding of broader systems engineering concepts including data structures, data modeling, database schemas, event-driven vs. message-driven architecture, and API integration best practices.
- Experience with Git Version Control Systems and CI/CD workflows within Salesforce.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading at least two full life-cycle Salesforce.com implementations.
