Basic Function:
To safely assemble, test, repair and package Pneumatic product while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep safety as a primary focus by working safely, following safety policies and work instructions, asking for help, promptly reporting safety concerns, and utilizing the Stop & Seek program, as required.

  • Must be able to read and understand bills of material and routings.

  • Must be able to read and interpret assembly drawings, and process, sales orders and test instructions.

  • Perform and become completely familiar with assembly operations.

  • Perform routine and repetitive work while maintaining a high degree of quality and quantity.

  • Test pneumatic products and repair as required.

  • Recognize irregularities, diagnose problems, and make repairs.

  • Accurately record component part scrap utilizing First Pass Yield Program.

  • Submit waste reductions/cost avoidances.

  • Train new team members in designated cells.

  • Positively support change initiatives by actively contributing to and participating in lean principles and Kaizen events.

  • Promote and practice 5S + Safety approach by keeping work area neat, clean, and organized, and following safety and housekeeping rules.

  • Positively and actively contribute to High Performance Teams (HPTs) by participating in team improvement boards (TIB) reviews, problem solving and task completion.

  • Be a respectful team player and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members and supervision.

  • Keep work area neat, clean, and organized using the 5S+ Safety approach and following safety and housekeeping rules.

  • Perform all other duties as responsibilities nesscesitate.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Knowledge of basic computer functions

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player with minimal supervision and guidance

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently will stand, reach, grasp, and handle.

  • Regularly will lift up to 25 pounds and sit.

  • Infrequently will walk, pull, push, bending and twist.

Working Conditions:

  • A moderately loud environment with potential exposure to chemicals, oils, dirt, vibration and moving equipment.

  • 3rd Shift Hours: 10:30pm - 7am (Sunday night - Friday morning), Overtime as needed

  • 1st Shift Hours: 7am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday), Overtime as needed
