Job Description

NOTE: Candidates must live in or near the Woburn, MA area and be able to report to the Wilmington, MA facility following Sirtex's hybrid policy (currently 3 days/week in office and 2 days/week remote).

  • Supporting manufacturing validations, production of finished goods, and quality inspections.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to increase efficiencies and reduce waste.
  • Execution of product testing including documentation.
  • Development of test methods and protocols, and reporting of testing completed.
  • Generation of solid models and drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Investigation and assessments of materials, components and equipment options as needed for development or testing.
  • Researching and summarizing applicable medical literature.
  • Sourcing and ordering materials and supplies for engineering and development work.
  • Maintenance of Engineering laboratory equipment and corresponding supplies inventory.
  • Support design change controls documents in Sirtex QMS. (e.g. Design Trace Matrices, QSOP's, QWI's, Product Specifications)
Qualifications
  • Currently working towards an engineering degree and ideally having experience in at least one prior internship.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude * Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels.
  • Highly organized, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently on assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, an energetic, proactive, flexible individual with high integrity and ethics in all dealings.
  • Skilled with standard office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CAD programs, SolidWorks preferred.
