The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SPA has a near-term need for a Communications Specialist. Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to support modernization of the NC3 architecture. The Communications Specialist applies operational and technical expertise to inform communications architecture prototyping, demonstrations, and experimentation, and leads research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts-planning and executing NC3 demonstrations, prototyping new communication solutions, and conducting experiments to validate system performance. This role gathers, organizes, and analyzes data-applying modeling, simulation, and statistical techniques to develop cost-benefit and risk assessments-and presents actionable recommendations. It develops and implements tests, demonstrations, assessments, analytical procedures, and data-collection processes, working individually or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Additional responsibilities include supporting project management tasks, interfacing with clients and program leadership, ensuring the accuracy and quality of contract deliverables, representing the company at industry events, and preparing program-status presentations.
