Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and test mechanical equipment and machinery. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, collaborate with a talented design team, and play a key role in bringing products from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop products such as engines, machines, instruments, controls, or robotics systems. Collaborate with the design team to create sketches, layouts, and detailed plans. Utilize CAD software to produce preliminary and detailed design drawings. Prepare specifications for materials, components, and production methods. Build and test models or prototypes to evaluate design performance. Analyze test data and compare results with similar designs to improve functionality and efficiency. Develop control systems and oversee aspects of the production process. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent mechanical and technical proficiency. Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer workstation. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Must be able to access and inspect all areas of machinery and equipment. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
