Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and test mechanical equipment and machinery. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, collaborate with a talented design team, and play a key role in bringing products from concept to production.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop products such as engines, machines, instruments, controls, or robotics systems.



  • Collaborate with the design team to create sketches, layouts, and detailed plans.



  • Utilize CAD software to produce preliminary and detailed design drawings.



  • Prepare specifications for materials, components, and production methods.



  • Build and test models or prototypes to evaluate design performance.



  • Analyze test data and compare results with similar designs to improve functionality and efficiency.



  • Develop control systems and oversee aspects of the production process.



  • Perform other related duties as assigned.




Skills & Abilities:




  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.



  • Excellent mechanical and technical proficiency.



  • Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software.



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.



  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.




Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer workstation.



  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.



  • Must be able to access and inspect all areas of machinery and equipment.




Education & Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.



  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
