Opportunity Overview: Construction Supervisor II - Contract 1 Year; Likely to Extend Amarillo, TX - Onsite Per Diem Offered Your Day-to-Day: The Construction Supervisor will support Base Capital Projects across multiple power plant sites. You will provide on-site oversight during project execution, during spring and fall overhauls. The supervisor will be the on-the-ground liaison when the project manager is not present, ensuring that construction activities align with project plans and safety protocols. The role involves coordinating with both internal plant personnel and external contractors. Key Responsibilities: * Provide daily on-site supervision during project overhauls. * Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and plant personnel. * Monitor construction activities including welding, scaffolding, painting, and equipment installation. * Ensure safety protocols are followed, especially during critical lifts. * Compile weekly reports and track project documentation (e.g., weld x-ray reports). Who You Are: * 5-7 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in power generation or heavy industry. * Mechanical or civil background and familiarity with power plant components (boilers, turbines, condensers). * Experience with critical lifts and vendor oversight. * Travel required and work on-site 5-6 days per week.
