Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts.

We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Modular Fabrication Quality Coordinator

Play an integral role in shaping the quality excellence of modular fabrication and installation within one of the world's leading engineering and construction organizations. This is a role where precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement meet practical innovation. You will be part of a diverse and high-performing project team that values technical expertise, communication, and accountability.

Purpose of the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that every module manufactured and installed meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and compliance. Acting as the bridge between design, fabrication, and installation, you will help prevent issues before they arise and maintain a seamless flow of work across all stages of production. With a focus on LEAN and Six Sigma principles, you'll drive process improvements and uphold the culture of operational excellence across our project teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide quality oversight throughout the modular fabrication process, ensuring standards are maintained at every workstation.
  • Support smooth coordination of client inspections, proactively resolving issues before they impact schedule or quality.
  • Verify that all quality control functions, check sheets, and inspection reports are correctly completed and documented.
  • Monitor module transitions-from factory floor to site installation within the structural plenum-ensuring compliance and integrity at every step.
  • Apply independent judgment and problem-solving to complex assignments, balancing technical rigor with practical execution.
  • Lead small teams or provide work direction to others, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accountability.
  • Analyze design and fabrication data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of systems, tools, and processes that enhance quality performance and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing clear technical direction and professional guidance.

  • LEAN or Six Sigma accreditation (required), with a proven ability to apply continuous improvement methodologies in real-world environments.
  • A technical school diploma (or equivalent) with 7+ years of relevant experience in quality or fabrication.
  • Advanced understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, and process controls.
  • Sound judgment and a pragmatic approach to decision-making, balancing technical accuracy with project efficiency.
  • Confidence in leading or mentoring small teams and working autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across client, engineering, and construction groups.
