    DESCRIPTION OF WORK
   
 
    
    As a County Social Services Aide 1, you will conduct a wide-range of duties which will contribute to the overall safety and protection of the children and families being served by Pike County CYS. Specific responsibilities will entail scheduling, transporting, and escorting clients to various appointments, foster homes, court hearings, and recreational activities; providing basic information; conducting outreach to clients who missed scheduled appointments; and assisting clients and/or families with the everyday activities of living and home maintenance. You will also be tasked with conducting routine clerical assignments in support of the intake unit, compiling data reports, and managing scheduling for visitation rooms. Work Schedule and Additional Information: 
     Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.     QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: 
     Graduation from high school; orAny equivalent combination of training and experience. Other Requirements:
