Location: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Janesville, WI

Mercyhealth is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Nursing to lead nursing operations of the Mercy Regional Cancer Center to ensure high-quality care, efficient performance, and compliance with all regulations.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with our system's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

  • Masters degree in a related field preferred.

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin through WI DSPS.
  • Certification in specialty desirable.

  • Must have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience.

  • Three to five years of previous cancer program management and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and supervise daily Cancer Center nursing operations.

  • Recruit, train, and evaluate management and supervisory staff.

  • Develop and implement policies, goals, and objectives aligned with the Mercy Health System's Mission, Vision, and Values.

  • Manage and monitor the Cancer Center budget.

  • Participate in program development, policy interpretation, and committee activities.

  • Investigate and resolve complaints or escalate complex issues as needed.

  • Collaborate with the Director on strategic planning and policy implementation.

  • Maintain and enhance the Center's Quality Assurance and Improvement (QA&I) program.
