Director, Global Process Owner P2P

Position Summary:

The Director, Global Process Owner - P2P will play a key leadership role, in defining and driving end-to-end optimal process design efforts across the Procurement Operations (Req to PO), Vendor Onboarding, and Accounts Payable (Invoice to Pay) workstreams. The role is responsible for defining global process standards, monitoring process performance, facilitating process related escalations and governance for P2P, and driving an Automation/Analytics culture within the team. They will also be responsible for collaborating with Strategic Sourcing, Accounting and Legal Operations, Compliance, Internal Audit, IT, and other key stakeholders in the business to ensure effective and efficient process operations. This role serves as a key enabler to leverage technology to drive disciplined scaling and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of the company's P2P policies and procedures; continuously improving processes and procedures to deliver operational excellence
  • Assess and articulate business requirements, analyze design options and proactively seek out and assess process simplification and standardization opportunities that will eventually drive Automation within the process
  • Own and manage enabling technology roadmap and solutions and ensure optimal use of existing systems
  • Ensure proper reporting metrics are established that effectively measure performance, track initiatives and deliver on time; analyze metrics and trends to identify root causes and drive corrective actions
  • Oversee and lead a cross-functional and business process team to deploy the full cycle review of business processes, from existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and designing new processes to enhance efficiency
  • Sets and determines strategy in agreement with business leaders, sets overall performance objectives and facilitates senior level development and debrief sessions with leaders of cross functional teams
  • Leads teams through change management to ensure smooth implementation and transitions with minimal disruptions
  • Promote an environment of innovative thinking in designing solutions to meet the business and technology needs and motivate team members to embrace new and different technologies
  • Develop inclusive environments and develop effective relationships with business unit leaders, act as a liaison between senior leaders and process owners
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate accounting control environment within the team. Lead ongoing policy governance and compliance. Drive governance around reporting and presentations for MBRs/QBRs presented to key stakeholders
  • Plan, design, and ensure implementation of performance improvement initiatives to remedy key misses on KPI's

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of work experience with 7+ years of senior management, Director level experience with/within a Procure to Pay team
  • Experience leading a team with global resources
  • Prior operational experience using data analytics and automation within the Procure to Pay cycle is a must
  • Experience of SAP Ariba, VIM would be a plus
  • Proven ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership both internally and externally, and influence peers and senior management in a complex, geographically dispersed matrix organization
  • Self-directed, dynamic, and customer-centric change-agent who thrives in a challenging and changing environment
  • Highly collaborative; aligns effectively with colleagues and business partners to deliver results while maximizing the success of all contributors
  • Skilled communicator and proven relationship builder, able to operate within a multitude of formal and informal networks while managing the competing interests of varied stakeholders
  • Champions productivity improvements through Process Improvement and has a commitment to continuous learning
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Business acumen to develop effective partnerships with key stakeholders and provide a strategic perspective in discussions and communications; including framing the needs of Finance and Groups in context of the larger organization

U.S. Pay Range

$182,800.00 - $247,200.00

The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
