   Obtaining and maintaining a thorough understanding of financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger structureManaging a client base for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting services and special projects and ensuring timely reportingDeveloping and maintaining relationships with internal staff and clientsOccasionally working remotely with clients at their off-site locations to facilitate their financial reporting needsAdhere to engagement budget constraints and complete assigned tasks with the time requestedProviding various training and support for other team members of the client accounting and advisory group and other firm departmentsPreparation and/or review annual 1099 formsKnowledge of QuickBooks Online and multiple QuickBooks editions, further achieving ProAdvisor status within 1 year of hire dateProficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookFamiliarity with payroll processing and processing of payroll via third-party payroll providersExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to work well in a team environmentReviewing staff level projects primarily for internal use financial statementsIn office at least 3 days per weekAdditional responsibilities as assigned Preferred Qualifications 
   Combination of experience in public and private accounting a plusKnowledge and understanding of GAAP, Cash Basis Accounting, Tax Accounting, and DepreciationExperience with other accounting and ERP software, such as NetSuite, Intacct, and Dynamics a plusAttending networking and marketing eventsAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethics Minimum Qualifications  
   Bachelor's degree 6 years of experience in public accounting or related field3 years supervisory experienceMust have active CPA or equivalent certificationAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyMust be able to travel based on client and business needsProficient use of applicable technology The annual salary target for this job in this market is $105,000-$125,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
