The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Manager of Strategic Sales for Facilities Optimization Solutions (FOS), a business entity within CannonDesign, a multifaceted design solutions firm. The Manager of Strategic Sales is responsible for leading and executing the company's strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build long-term client relationships. This role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that align with client needs and organizational objectives. The Manager of Strategic Sales will oversee a team of sales professionals while also engaging directly with senior-level clients to close complex deals.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market growth targets.
  • Determine and execute GTM strategies for Federal space, Healthcare, and IQC markets.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of strategic sales representatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with enterprise and high-value clients.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to design solutions that address client needs.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategies.
  • Oversee the development of proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations for large or complex deals.
  • Forecast sales performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.

Required skills and experience:



  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role, required.
  • JOC experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing large, complex deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market dynamics.
  • Experience managing enterprise clients and long sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.

The salary range for this position is $136,200 to $170,200 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time schedules, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
