      | Organizational Unit Overview | The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is one of eight departments within the College of Allied Health Sciences. It offers a comprehensive range of degree programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences, a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders (for those pursuing careers in speech-language pathology), a Doctor of Audiology (AuD), and a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences.
        
 The Department plays a prominent role within the College, with a strong physical presence in the Health Sciences Building. The 
        ECU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic occupies the first floor, the Department's research laboratories are located on the second floor, and the academic and administrative offices are housed on the third floor.

      | Job Duties | We are currently inviting applications for a 12-month, tenure-track position in Audiology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the AuD program, with primary responsibilities in research, teaching doctoral-level audiology courses, and service. There may also be opportunities to provide clinical audiology services in the 
        ECU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic.
