While reporting to the Service Center Operations Manager, as a Site Supervisor, you'll oversee daily operations of the wood reel assembly site, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. You'll lead a team of assemblers, coordinate with logistics and maintenance, and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for wood reel assembly
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of assemblers and support staff
  • Monitor workflow, quality control, and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with plant management on scheduling, inventory, and process improvements
  • Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured product
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and production goals.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • Prefer bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, or business) is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and production processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
  • Familiarity with production equipment and processes, as well as knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
