Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for supportingHospital Operations projects by contributing to the development, implementation and success ofHospital wide projects and initiatives, including integration and merger activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and promote positive working relationships with all stakeholders. Perform ad hoc data analysis to support project planning.
  • Plan and manage Hospital Operations projects and integration efforts as determined by CEO, COO, and executive leadership.
  • Assemble and maintain project plans and documentation of project progress using standardized project management tools.
  • Manage the project meetings using project plans to meet key deadlines and ensure progress of the project.
  • Monitor project progress, tracking key milestones, using project management tools to meet customer needs.
  • Develop applicable process and outcome metrics to measure project success.
  • Provide administrative support for Hospital Operations committee meetings including agendas, key decisions, and follow up action items.
  • Supervise the project team as well as the day and evening supervisors.
  • Monitor staff coverage and operations on a 24/7 basis

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, PublicHealth Administration or related field.
Professional Certifications / Registration: Indicate special certifications that are required or preferred for the position 3 - 5 years Healthcare management experience.
Experience with data analysis.
Knowledge of project management tools, methods and best practice.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organization, leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Business Administration, PublicHealth Administration or related field. 1 - 2 years Project management experience.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $77,258.68 - $105,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
