Starting Wage: $24.80 + 0.80 shift differential for 2ndshift Shift: 2nd shift, 1:50pm-9:50pm Location: 207 Laurel Hill Road, Verona VA What's in it for you: Paid Time Off 88 Hours of Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans 401K Match Tuition Reimbursement Referral Bonus Program Growth Opportunities Climate Controlled Facility What you will do: Demonstrates compliance with all safety rules and PPE requirements Read, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction Work with a variety of materials to complete assigned tasks to meet production requirements Operate various tools and equipment to assemble, test, handle, manipulate and move components, assemblies, and final product Use measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity to prints, work instructions and standards with the goal of eliminating internal and external escapes Complete required records including but not limited to quality checklists, inputs into specified electronic systems Report line issues into the appropriate data collection systems Safe operation of equipment as required to complete assigned tasks (e.g. charging stations, water jet, evacuation pumps, tuggers, cranes, etc.) Require frequent physical lifting, bending, twisting, and repetitive shoulder/arm/hand/wrist/finger motions and maybe required to climb greater than 4 feet off the ground to perform some work Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to operate hand tools Ability to read and understand written English Previous manufacturing experiencepreferred Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match 40 hours paid time off for new employees, prorated based on start date 88 hours company paid holidays Tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service If you're looking for an engaging career with growth opportunities in a supportive environment, you'll love a career at Daikin Applied!
