Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Sales Support Specialist for our Columbus, Ohio location.

This position will report to the Strategic Sales Supervisor.
     
     Responsibilities: 
     
      - Support national account sales efforts by assisting with multi-site customer agreements
- Conduct account research, including identifying existing sales activity within target accounts and analyzing customer usage data
- Collaborate with National Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, which typically ranges from 6 months to 2 years, by preparing presentations, proposals, and customer agreements.
- Coordinate rollout activities post-sale, including account setup, rep assignments, and regional manager collaboration to ensure timely site conversions. 
- Assist in creating and managing price files, addressing customer pain points by working with pricing and billing teams. 
- Generate and deliver usage reports to both customers and internal stakeholders, supporting ongoing account management and performance tracking.
- Utilize Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting; training will be provided as needed.
- Serves as a central point of communication for new sales programs and rollouts including conducting and co-leading planning and rollout calls with National Account Executives and the Field Sales Team
- Reports on lead responses and sales to the Strategic Sales Supervisor and applicable National Account Executives
- Researches and gathers potential and active customer location information from various sources, including but not limited to Internet research, account listings, usage reports and comparisons.
- Tracks and maintains an up-to-date pricing schedule for National programs and works with the Strategic Sales Supervisor to meet scheduled deadlines
- Assists with preparing and conducting recurring customer reviews and customer surveys
Qualifications:
     
      - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or other related area or equivalent business experience
- Prior experience with cross functional communication and leading discussions
- Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, company product lines and market driven influences
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment where daily tasks vary and require wearing multiple hats.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
