| About the Role We are seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to join the PharmBIO Supply Chain Team, leading a team of Procurement Associates and supporting strategic procurement initiatives.This role will also support other Specialty divisions with strategic procurement needs. In this critical leadership role, you will have global accountability for developing and executing the buy strategy, establishing new buy categories and suppliers to enable New Product Development (NPD), and advancing supply chain competitiveness across all direct materials and contract manufacturing supporting the company. You will provide strategic direction and oversight for key procurement functions, including Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Performance Management, and Category Management. A major focus of this role is to cultivate a high performing, engaged team environment that drives results and fosters collaboration. Additionally, you will partner closely with the business to deliver strategic sourcing support, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and long-term business objectives. This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.  Pay and Benefits:

    Drive procurement metrics and targets in alignment with business strategyParticipate as full partner on the Supply Chain leadership team to fully understand the business strategy and to bring the external marketplace dynamics into the strategy and planning processDevelop a high performing team with the appropriate skills, knowledge, and bench strength to drive functional excellence and deliver on the long-term needs of the business; provide leadership for the procurement team which includes driving the performance management, talent planning and compensation processesDevelop the overall vision, strategy and objectives for the Procurement function and ensure effective execution of the strategyUnderstand external industry trends including social compliance, product traceability and tariff implications, the competitive environment, and our internal performance to align and continuously improve the sourcing strategyDevelop strategic relationships with key suppliers and engage them in strategic supplier management for value creation and innovationWork with the Procurement team to evaluate the external market and develop strategies to mitigate risk and guarantee supply continuityAccountable for annual delivery of savings and working capital targets as required by the business and supply chain to achieve competitivenessPartner with cross-functional leaders to provide expertise needed for successful design for supply chain decisions and for mobilizing strategic sourcing initiativesRequired Qualifications 
    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business (or related)Minimum 7 years of procurement experiencePrior experience leading and developing people with proven performance management skillsStrong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving desired business outcomesDemonstrated leadership and influencing skills in global business teams. Strong communication skills, teamwork, collaboration, and ability to build relationships and affect change remotelyAnalytical and project management skillsDriving clarity and decisions in an ambiguous environment.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a global procurement strategy that delivers business resultsAbility to travel up to 10-15% -national and internationalDesired Qualifications
