For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign on bonus for
Patient Service Representative's (PSRs):

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSS position.
    Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Service Representative (PSR) to support our providers and patients in a welcoming, fast-paced environment.

The Patient Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an efficient and positive experience. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination of communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff. The PSR plays an essential role in keeping our practice running smoothly and supporting high-quality patient care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
