Medical Assistant (MA) - Pain Care, Franklin

Join our dedicated Pain Care team at Franklin Memorial Hospital, where you'll play a key role in supporting patients on their path to better comfort and quality of life. We're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Position Summary

The Medical Assistant works closely with providers and nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our Pain Care clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining medical histories and vital signs, assisting with procedures, managing documentation, and supporting overall clinical operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
2. License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
3. Experience: Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
