Primary Responsibilities *Receive customer order forms, read the order information confirm & label product. *Stack product on skids as needed (off trailer, in warehouse, during labeling...ect). *Ensure the labeling area is stocked with necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently and effectively. *Ensure warehouse is safe and free of debris (periodically sweeping and picking up trash). *Affix labels to products prior to shipment. *Match order paperwork to product and confirm all contents for order was pulled correctly. *Fulfill customer orders correctly and efficiently. *Move materials and package for shipment. *Make requests for materials, tools, or other stock items to management. *Follow all safety codes. *Place merchandise on pallets or similar shipping carriers. *Record amounts of materials or items to ship and confirm all labels are verified before labeling. *Perform facilities cleanup (inside and outside trash detail). *Sometimes sort material according to type, style, color, or product code. *Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor. *Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse and communicate those to supervisor. *Maintain records of all labeling activities for accountability purposes. | |
