 Senior Cost Analyst LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA Salary Range: $135-150k JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: Secret TRAVEL: Limited; as needed Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Analyst providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS. QUALIFICATIONS: 
 Bachelors Degree in a related field and 12 years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR,
  
   15 years of directly related experience, 8 years of which must be in the DoDStrong understanding of DoD budget cycles including planning, programming, justification, and executionProficiency in quantitative analysis and calculusMust be a US citizen PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Utilize cost estimating methods such as analogy, engineering/scientific methodology, and extrapolationAnalyze how various factors influence the full lifecycle cost of weapon systemsEvaluate cost elements for projects of limited scopeConduct Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis on contractor financial data to assess cost/schedule viabilityPerform analytical processes including problem setup, data collection/reduction, data display, and drawing mathematical conclusionsProvide pricing support services across the acquisition lifecycle: development, award, management, and closeoutDraft pricing briefings, correspondence, and agency pricing reportsAssist in developing cost evaluation criteria and tracking pre-award milestonesSupport cost proposal evaluations during source selectionGenerate pricing documentation, spreadsheets, and evaluations of technical proposalsAssist in discussions and communications with offerors regarding pricingPrepare pricing-related documents in response to protest actions or claimsAccess and analyze organizational pricing databases Air Force EPASS HB |
