Description Join a skilled, collaborative surgical team that's dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. As a Surgical Technologist, you'll play a key role in creating a smooth, efficient, and supportive operating room environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare surgical setups following department protocols and each surgeon's preferences.

  • Make sure the operating room is fully stocked and equipped with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment before each procedure.

  • Maintain the highest standards of aseptic technique and infection control.

  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team-passing instruments, managing supplies, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

  • Handle and label medications and specimens safely and accurately in compliance with all regulatory standards.

  • Perform precise instrument, sponge, and needle counts to prevent retained foreign objects.

  • Work closely with nurses and surgeons to promote patient safety and procedural efficiency.

  • Help with room turnover and cleaning between cases to keep workflows running smoothly.

  • Stay up to date with surgical practices and emerging technologies through ongoing education and training.

    Salary Range: $37.50-$49.46

Qualifications

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:



  • Certification: Surgical Technician certification from an accredited school or program, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute care facility with exposure to a wide range of surgical procedures, required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling surgical instruments and operating room equipment with precision and care.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Professionalism: Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
