Job Description

Typical Job Responsibilities:

  • Statement of Work Breakdown

  • Scheduling via Microsoft Project

  • Staffing via Microsoft Project

  • Presenting Technical information to Customers and Leadership

  • Technical Mentoring

  • Grow and foster positive relationships with customers

  • Lead teams to solve technical challenges

  • Contribute to internal research and development

  • Work with engineering leadership to drive continuous improvement

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Science/Acoustic Engineering or appropriate field or equivalent work experience.

  • 9+ years of experience within a complex engineering environment with 5 or more years leading engineering or scientific teams.

  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in the defense industry

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • Experience with underwater acoustics and/or sonar systems

  • Experience with RADAR systems

  • Experience with underwater instrumentation such as sonar and acoustic arrays

  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including debugging

  • Experience working with Agile, Surround, or other configuration management tools

  • Proficient in time management and organizational skills

  • Experience leading teams to execute complex tasks

  • Willingness to work on the team to help complete work

Expected Compensation: The expected compensation range for this role is $91,000-114,000
