Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Physician Relations and Network Development to lead our physician liaison team and spearhead initiatives that drive strategic referral growth and strengthen our provider network. As a key member of our business development and outreach leadership team, you will oversee a high-performing group of physician liaisons, align outreach strategies with UCLA Health's marquis clinical programs, and use data-driven insights to enhance access to our nationally recognized services. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on institutional growth, provider partnerships, and market development. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead,
coach, and manage the physician liaison team to achieve referral and network development goals. - Cultivate
strong relationships with external physicians, medical groups, and healthcare organizations. - Drive
strategic referrals to UCLA Health's priority service lines and specialties. - Collaborate
with service line and enterprise leaders to ensure outreach supports organizational priorities. - Leverage
data and analytics to develop and refine targeted outreach strategies. - Oversee
referral management workflows to ensure efficient, patient-centered coordination. - Represent
UCLA Health at provider-facing events, professional meetings, and in community settings. - Respond
to feedback and concerns from referring providers with professionalism and urgency. - Monitor
healthcare market trends and competitive activity to guide growth strategies.
Salary Range: $105,700-$234,500/annually
Qualifications
We are seeking a strategic healthcare leader with:
- Five or more years of experience in a comparable
role (i.e. physician liaison, physician relations, or other business development roles involving direct interaction with physicians and specialists, etc.), required. - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of
education and experience. - Demonstrated expertise in healthcare market dynamics, including growth strategy, physician network development, and referral channel expansion, required.
- Comprehensive understanding of the organization's services lines, clinical programs, and payer contracting frameworks, required.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills to
perform complex market and financial analysis, required. - Expertise in strategic planning, project
management, change management, process improvement skills, required. - Advanced interpersonal communication and relationship-management skills, with strong political acumen and the ability to navigate complex organizational environments, required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM platforms, such as salesforce, with the ability to quickly learn specialized applications used in the field,
required.
